EuraGerhard hat da nicht unbedingt Recht für 2010. Ich würde da dran bleiben. Gerade gestern kam das Dezemberheft des The Caravan Club, und da kam auch das Leaflet 'Sites Directory Supplement 2010' mit. Dort heißt es auf Seite 51:
'London Low Emission Zone
The Mayor of London has announced his intention to suspend the third phase of the Low Emission Zone (LEZ), which was due to affect vans and minibuses from October 2010. The proposed changes will be subject to public consultation and will need to be confirmed by the Mayor following the consultation. Details will be published on the Transport for London's website in due course. TFL is advising operators of vehicles affected by the third phase of the LEZ that they should not take any action until the outcome of the consultation is confirmed. The first two phases of the scheme affecting lorries, buses and coaches, including some larger motor caravans are unaffected by the proposals and remain in operation'
Also gilt es herauszufinden, ob Dein Wohnmobil von der ersten oder zweiten Phase der LEZ Einführung überhaupt betroffen ist. Also Transport for London anfragen oder The Caravan Club anfragen.
Mein persönlicher Tip für Londonbesuche ist und bleibt The Swiss Farm Camping (
http://www.swissfarmcamping.co.uk/) in Henley-On-Thames. Unglaublich englischer Ort an der Themse und das Network Southwest (
http://www.southwesttrains.co.uk) bringt einen in weniger als einer Stunde ins Zentrum von London (wenn man dann noch dahin will...)
