Tallink jetzt von Tallin nach Stockholm

Moin,
Aker Yards hat die Galaxy an Tallink abgeliefert.
Dieses Schiff löst die in 2002 gebaute Romantika auf der Route Helsinki Tallin ab.
Daher wird es ab dieser Saison eine direkte Verbindung mit der Romantika von Tallin nach Stockholm geben.
Bisher bediente Tallink von Paldiski aus Nynäsham mit der alten Braemar (Früher Fred Olsen Lines - auch bekannt als Anna Kahrenina von Travemünde nach Petersburg) eine direkte Schweden Route.
Diese bleibt bestehen wird aber überw. für Fracht genutzt.
Hat für alle Baltikum Rund Fahrer den Vorteil, daß man den Rückweg nicht mehr über Finnland machen muß

Today, on 18 April 2006, the cruise ferry "Galaxy" was delivered for
Tallink from Aker Yards shipyard in Rauma. The contract worth 165 million
Euro was signed in October 2004. The vessel will start cruises from
Helsinki to Tallinn.

The vessel is one of the biggest cruise ferries in the Baltic Sea, having
capacity for 2,800 passengers. The guiding principle in designing the
vessel is paying attention to the comfort and luxury of present-day
passengers. The use of high-tech solutions onboard is maximal.

927 cabins, several restaurants and places to entertain of various style
and class as well as a remarkable conference centre with over 450 seats
make the new ship a multi functional sea-based hotel with excellent
ambience.

The vessel will start regular cruises between Helsinki and Tallinn. On
that route now, the cruise ferry "Romantika", delivered from Aker Yards
in spring 2002, will start cruising between Stockholm and Tallinn
together with the sister ship "Victoria", built in Rauma in 2004.

In addition to the "Galaxy", Tallink has ordered from Aker Yards a sister
vessel for the big cruise ferry for delivery in summer 2008 as well as a
fast passenger day ferry for delivery in spring 2007.

MS Galaxy is designed to carry passengers, private cars and freight
units, and has 1,130 lanemetres, i.e. over a kilometre of vehicle deck
space. The vessel has a length of 212 metres, a beam of 29 metres and a
gross tonnage of 48,300. Propulsion by four diesel engines totalling
26,240 kW will provide a service speed of 22 knots. Classification of the
vessel is to the highest ice-class - 1 A Super. The catalytic reduction
units to be installed for better control of exhaust emissions will make
the vessel most environmentally friendly.

Hi Dirk,

wenn ich mich nicht vertue, fährt Tallink doch schon seit ein paar Jahren Stockholm - Tallin mit der Victoria, dem Schwesterschiff der Romantika. Letztes Jahr hatte ich die Victoria in Stockholm gesehen und meine mich dunkel an ein Tallinkschild Richtung Tallin zu erinnern.
Wenn es denn so ist, wird die Romantika die Victoria auf dieser Route dann wohl verstärken und das Angebot an Abfahrten so verdoppeln.

Unterrichte mich doch bitte wenn ich mich irren sollte

Moin,
ne Du hast schon recht - war missverständlich formuliert.
Die Viktoria verkehrt seit einiger Zeit mit dem berühmten "Zollfrei" Stopp in Marieham (Aland) auf dieser Route.
Mit dem 2ten Schiff wird es eine Verdoppelung der Abfahrten geben.

Schade, habe gerade die Website aufgesucht. Leider nur in Schwedisch!

Wir wollen nächstes Jahr unsere Bonuspunkte bei der TT-Line einlösen (kostenlose Hinfahrt nach Schweden für Womo und 5 Personen), dann von Trelleborg nach Stockholm und dort nach Tallinn übersetzten.

Daher wäre die Seite für mich sehr informativ. Gibt es deutsch oder englischsprachige Alternativen?

schöne Tour die ihr euch da ausgeschaut habt. Sehr schönes Fahrtgebiet um Stockholm und wunderbare Schiffe.
Mmmh, ich glaub ich habe auch noch ne TT-Line Bonusfahrt offen...... .

wer so viele Schiffe wie Tallink in kürzester Zeit kauft oder bauen lässt,
der muß auch ein wenig Kohle wieder hinten rein schaufeln , oder ?
