Hallo an alle Englandreisende!
Nachdem unsere Erfahrung in England auch nicht die besten waren, haben wir an British Heritage nachfolgenden Brief versandt um unseren Unmut bezüglich der Abstellmöglichkeiten kundzutun:

Ref .: travelling in Britain with the Great British Heritage Pass
Dear Sirs,
rather a wonderful holiday, that is, what we spent in Britain from May 9th. until June 25th this year.
Travelling with our mobile home we enjoyed your country trying to overcome some difficulties like the total absence of legal overnight parking places for mobile homes except farms or camping-sites, often requiring preceding reservation. In most of the Heritage premises there were parking opportunities outside the entrance but incomprehensible reasons prevent an overnight standing.
An other example: Dover Castle. Our mobile home being too high to pass through the gateway we had to search for a parking lot somewhere outside, but the only suitable place turned out to be reserved for Pullmans, although there would have been enough space for your visitors near the castle, but closed with gates.
As we did not quite feel to be entirely welcome in Britain, we would politely ask you to suggest us good reasons why we should recommend the same experience to our friends of the Austrian Motoring Club.
Looking forward to your kind answer I remain
yours faithfully
